Dear Captain,
It has come to my attention that you are in need of a few leaders. As someone that has a strong tendency to follow through with their words, I feel I would flourish greatly in such a position.
I am here to tell you why I would make an excellent leader. Though I have little faith in myself at times, I have faith in others. I have an open ear and an open mind, and I listen to the problems and find a solution. In my own problems I find that I have a tendency to become angry with myself upon the discovery of a weakness. When this happens, I will conquer it. My lack of fear to face the unknown and rise above all opposing forces has forged my mind into being both knowledgeable and experienced. I do not just say things, I do them.
Since I follow my own orders, in my mind that proves that I would make an efficient leader. If it is ones desire to order others around, that person had better be able to follow those exact orders themselves. If I would not expect it of myself, I will not expect it of others. Leaders must be able to lead those they follow, as the title would suggest. As someone that has forged my own path I believe myself capable of leading others to forge their own.
I am a fighter to the core. I will listen and aid others to the full extent of my capabilities. Even if it is someone I tend to dislike I will keep an open mind. I also have wisdom, or so I would like to think, and so can offer words of advice to help others along their path. And my undying loyalty to any I call friend gives people the support they need when they cannot find their own inner strength.
I will always reply to any messages sent to me and so would appreciate to hear your views on my offer. You may either write me at my given home address or send me an e-mail. I may not reply to the e-mail instantly, but I will get to it within the week. Thank you for taking your time to read this letter.
Sincerely,
Mindy Sager (Nia)
