Paladins Through Time and the Ages

Aeryn Sun (Center Pane)--Much like a paladin she is defined by her deeds and is a woman of action--a warrior who will go to any lengths to protect those who have earned her loyalty. Her personal code of honor and her ethics guide every decision she makes; she comes out with her honor every time.

Captian Kira Nerys (Right Pane)-- A brief history of Kira: She fought for nearly 20 years to free her people from tyrannical oppressors and through her trails never lost her faith, a primary tenent of being a paladin. Her sense of justice enables her to stand up for those who can not stand up for themselves and her devotion to whatever cause she takes up is unparalled. In the words of Ro Laren "She's incorruptible--she can't be bought, she can't be sold; and once she sinks her teeth into a cause she will not let go."

Arwen Undomiel (Left Pane)--Arwen's courage in a crisis in the movie version of Fellowship of the Ring ensured that Frodo could continue his quest to Mount Doom to destroy the Ring. Her faithful support of Aragorn gives him the strength to "become who (he) was born to be." Not only that--she does not force him to stay behind with her; she loves him enough to let him go because she too knew what needed to be done and not having him by her side at that time was a small price to pay.

Pa'au Zotoh Zhaan (Mountians--Far Right)--Zhann embodies the spiritual aspects of a paladin to the hilt. She is the center of calm in a crisis and the glue that holds the Farscape crew together in times of both good and bad. She is defined by her faith in the Goddess and is very devout in her practice. She uses violence as a last resort, preferring to find solutions through non-violent means.

Jadzia Dax (Mountains--Center)--Jadzia embodies the wisdom of a paladin. She is forward thinking, incredibly perceptive about people and situations and trusts her intuition when the situation demands it. Because of her accumulated wisdom, she is very accepting and open to new expierences and people. She uses her insights she's gained to help anyone she meets by dispensing much needed counsel or looking at situations from a new fresh perspective.

Eowyn of Rohan (Mountains--Far Left)-- The first moments of The Two Towers that Eowyn makes her appearance it is helping the two children that rode to Edoras to alert her and the King of an attack on their village. Eowyn selflessy took care of them, just like she took care of her uncle when he was sick without a thought to her own well-being. She leads the people of Rohan to Helm's Deep even though she desires to gain valor
